Former US President Donald Trump's difficulties have increased in the US Capitol Hill (US Parliament) violence case. The congressional committee investigating has blamed Trump. This violence took place on 6 January 2021 before the oath of President in America. Thousands of Trump's supporters had entered the Parliament House. There was sabotage and arson.
In its 154-page report on Monday, the committee recommended running a criminal case against Trump. For this, statements from 1000 eyewitnesses were recorded.

Trump dismissed all the allegations against him. He said in a post on the Truth social media platform – All the allegations against me are false. The case which is being probed by the Inquiry Committee has already been prosecuted in the form of impeachment. Making the same allegations once again is a conspiracy to sideline me and the Republican Party.
According to the news agency AFP report, the congressional committee has accused Trump of inciting rebellion, obstructing official action, conspiracy, making false statements, and deceiving the government. Along with this, the cases of overturning the decision of defeat in the presidential election, hiding tax-related matters, and carrying secret documents from the White House are also being investigated.
what will happen next?
It is not compulsory to accept the recommendations made in the report of the inquiry committee. This is a recommendation. This means that the Justice Department will decide whether or not Trump will be prosecuted for treason.

The committee was formed 18 months ago. Apart from Trump, it is also probing the allegations against his 5 associates. They are also facing charges of conspiracy to incite capital violence. The committee consists of 7 MPs from the Democratic Party and 2 MPs from the Republican Party. Its chairperson is Benny Thompson. One thousand eyewitnesses were interviewed in the investigation. Along with this, more than one thousand documents were examined. After this, evidence was gathered against Trump in a 154-page report.
